Installation is the core process of using sheet metal, and the basic treatment and fixing method directly determine the subsequent use effect, which must be strictly followed; Leveling, fitting, securing, leaving seams; principle:
1. Base pre-treatment: The installation surface needs to be cleaned thoroughly, removing oil stains, rust, gravel, and protrusions. It must be leveled (flatness≤ 0.1mm/m) to avoid warping and creep of the board due to uneven stress; Metal substrates in humid/corrosive environments require rust prevention treatment.
2. Fixed method to match load: For light loads (<500kg/㎡), use polyurethane/epoxy resin adhesive to bond and fix; Medium and heavy loads (500kg/㎡) are fixed with countersunk bolts, with bolt spacing of 300-500mm, and the edges/joints need to be increased to 200mm; ultra-high load/vibration equipment adopts; Adhesive+Bolt” Double fixation to prevent the board from slipping.
3. Splicing and seam retention: Large area laying requires staggered tiling to avoid material leakage or concentrated stress on the board caused by through seams; Reserve 1-2mm expansion joints when splicing multiple boards to cope with thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes and prevent board cracking.
4. Assembly protection: Handle with care during installation to avoid direct impact of heavy hammers, pry bars, and other hard objects on the surface/edges of the board, and to prevent hidden cracks from forming inside; The assembly gap should be uniform to avoid hard friction between the board and equipment components.
